Mixing with FX while Live Sequencing

Two things can pass through the FX mixer: a live sequencing pattern and saved beats.

FX can be applied to a live sequence or one that has been saved. When FX is applied to a live sequence, then Record is switched off, any pad played will sound normally separate from the mixed sequence. This isolates the FX mix to the sequence, rather than applying it to pad as done in sample mode. Once Record is armed any pad played will get added into the mix.

Mixing with FX on a Saved Beat

Any FX applied to a saved beat is going to be saved automatically. In order to simply test and play with effects on a beat you have saved simply press the pencil icon in the beats menu to get it into a working sequence. You can then press start/stop to add FX as needed, this also lets you rework the pattern in the grid.
